Of Seeking Inner Peace
January has felt like a strong storm, bringing me many frustrating and inspiring challenges. I recognise this is a time of learning, acceptance, and letting go. Amid the bruised wintery grey skies and the few days of piercing winter sun, it also seems astonishing that I’ve not walked into the woods or stood to draw on the edge of the fields for an entire month. I long for spring and the gentle, warmer sun; my flat is filled with flowers to combat this need.

Midwinter Break
Though I said I would write a blog post every two weeks during the holiday season, I think it’s realistic to say that I’m taking a break from technology until after the 7th of January and also because I’m traveling. I hope those who read my blog post are taking time to rest and spend time with loved ones. So I’ll leave you with a few upcoming projects & events for January that I’m looking forward to focusing on.

Wild Winter Days
First on my thoughts this week, especially as the weather gets colder and more challenging for vulnerable individuals, is my ongoing project to support those impacted by homelessness. While I continue to actively work on gathering both monetary and physical donations for this important initiative

Miniature Construction Site and Cake.
After the build-up and anticipation of last week’s delivery of goods to people experiencing homelessness and also the third anniversary of my brother’s departure from the physical plane, I rather accepted it when, on Friday, my body developed a sore throat. I did test for covid, but fortunately it has been a negative result and reaffirmed that this is just the common cold that I’ve had all weekend. Despite being indoors all weekend and slightly unwell, I feel exhilarated by last week, and being alive always brings me joy.

Raise your vibration by joining me this week!
I’m proposing this week to anyone who knew my little brother, Tim, or can relate to wanting to do good in this world and bring light to a day of tragedy. So, wherever you are in this world, can you find a way to notice anyone without a home and give them something that will help

Spiritual Discoveries
Somehow, while allowing myself more time to work in the studio outside of my constant to-do list, I’ve finally found time to use my new Pooki Printing press, which has been a game changer as I’m no longer having to use a wooden spoon to produce prints.
