As an artist, I have a long track record of working in the USA and the UK as an art teacher, freelance art teacher, and scenic painter for theatre, film and television. I’ve also worked as an illustrator for language courses and also as an illustrator for a few television series. I’ve led groups of students of all ages and levels in creating theatrical sets for school productions and taught workshops as a visiting art teacher for creative festivals. I’ve created my own workshops, taught life drawing in galleries, and even created and taught themed art workshops for children during summer camps and occasionally for birthday parties. I’ve been commissioned to illustrate artwork for private US and UK collections. I’ve exhibited my artwork all around the US and the UK in person and online and participated in art fairs. As the daughter of an exhibiting artist, I’ve been helping frame and display artworks in gallery settings all my life.
These are just a small selection of the many paths my art career has taken me since the 1990’s. I’ve worked as an artist mentor to new artists for many years and know from experience observing other artist mentors that my work ethics are vastly different, in that my sole objective is for the success of my clients rather than my hourly rate. I understand how difficult it is to find help in the arts when you’re just starting out, so I set my rates as either a monthly subscription fee or a one time payment. This means I don’t use an hourly fee and focus instead on giving you as much of my time as possible for what you’ve booked.
I offer two plans for you for whatever suits your needs the most: A one-session Artist Mentorship, if you only require one session or if you prefer regular support of your artistic journey, consider my monthly Artist Mentorship plan.
I absolutely offer student discounts, so please contact me if you need one so we can make a plan.
