Why an art club?

As an art teacher, I work with students who are all ages and all levels and the one common thing that the majority of my students and other artists I encounter have in common is that we all strive for community which is a challenge as being a visual artist often means we work alone and in isolation unless we can involve ourselves in an art programme with other like-minded people. This is not always possible so it’s my hope that my art club offers something to those at any part of their creative journey no matter how long or short they stay for.
